Okay - I'm the girly swot who's done her homework first.
Mine's not strictly speaking an advert. I'm a total sucker for homes magazines - I lust after the glossy pics of immaculate rooms with artfully placed objets here and there... No crap on the floor, no washing up piled in the sink, everyone groomed and glossy. I only wish my life were like that - sun shining, children dressed in Boden sun dresses, watering the garden with their tin watering cans as Alfie the labrador chases the chickens... sigh. Click here to see my picture.
Thanks, that's fantastic. As the most groomed and glossy member of the household I do like to think I try my best. Our cat Paws likes the idea of chickens, as long as they are not too pecky, but the labrador not so much.
If anyone else would like to share a sneak preview of their assignments to get others thinking please email me and I can upload it and link like this for you too.
PS Susie is a professional illustrator so don't feel that your submissions have to be done this well - the ideas are the important part, not the execution. Having said that, if you can beat this then go for it!
Suse that is fabulous! I particularly giggled at the 'how to make your home look shabby chic on a massive budget'!
Our house just looks shabby... ;-)
Remembering the days of small children learning how to do without nappies, there were plenty of times when 'crap on the floor' was literal too... (sorry, sorry, I'll get my coat...)
Oh no! That's just another step further from my Boden dream, and it'll be happening here before we know it... And I thought cat poo on the floor was bad enough.
