SofaChurch Christmas party

The good news: we're throwing a Christmas party for all the SofaChurch gang & their families on Thursday 18th December at our pad from 6.30pm*. There will be buffet nosh,** drinks, music and games.

The bad news: it's fancy dress; theme: film characters. (There'll be a prize for the best costume.)

* Earlier start so little people can come too
** Party food, so have a sandwich before coming if you're a big eater

Hi Suse,

Thank-you for generously opening up your home to us all (do you know what you are letting yourself in for?!!) We promise not to make too much mess! Do you want us to bring any drinks or nibbles?

Choccy and I have our outfits all ready (it's a surprise!) and can't wait! See you next week :-) Hee hee! x

Aw, tell me what you're coming as, you spoilsports! I'm going to be Glinda the Good Witch ;o) (Any excuse to wear a big frilly frock and a crown.)

You don't have to bring anything at all. Just come prepared for some very silly games and we'll have a fab time. Can't wait.

Pah. Don't forget I decide who the winner of the competition is, so you might want to start being extra nice to me.

Tim and I will be there! Minus the small people though as they go to bed early and we would only be able to stay a short time if they came with us!

Absolutely not a clue what I am going to wear. I don't do fancy dress *wails plaintively* - but don't worry, I won't be a party pooper, I'll think of something between now and then!

Looking forward to it. (Because silly games, I do do!!)

But do you do Andy's silly games? ;o)

Sorry to hear your small folk aren't coming :o( I rather like them.

I rather like them too! ;-)

But it would be far too late a night for them when they have school the next day.

I am up for Andy's silly games - the sillier the better as far as I am concerned!

*Refusing to panic about fancy dress yet...*

I'm having a suggestion for Helen which I would love to do :oD LOL - keeping it a secret from everyone else but putting it to Helen later on. *Here's hoping*

Looks like Helen's going to run with it! Excellent! LOL! :oD

I must have a dirty mind, because as soon as I read that you had a costume idea for Helen that you would 'love to do', I imagined doctors and nurses and all sorts. ;o)

Andy thinks you'll be Star Trek characters... are we warm?

LOL... saying nothing :oD except could involve a wig!

...have now checked and mine is probably sorted... LOL... I feel a dress rehearsal coming on before bed.

You do realise I've not gone to so much effort in research for fancy dress before!

Well I have just had so much fun trying on my costume! Will leave you all in suspense but I haven't laughed so much in ages!

Mwahahahahahaha ;-)

We've trawled the charity shops this morning and successfully accessorized! What a laugh! Hoping to surprise you all.

Make sure you've got cameras to hand - there will be some memorable moments and views :oD
