Playdough worship

This evening (28th August) is a chance to get creative, relax and go back to our childhoods while we play with playdough and see what we can make with it!

The theme for our creations will be 'My favourite Bible story' and we have six different colours to work with, plus a selection of cutters and rolling pins.

Everyone is welcome, so come along and squish, squeeze, roll, cut out and sculpt!

Thanks Helen, it was brilliant. And I was completely amazed at the quality of the model making.

I've set up a SofaChurch account on Flickr that we can use to share photos, and will upload mine from tonight shortly. I'll send people an email telling you how to access the account and upload your own photos - it's very easy.

I loved it, thank you everyone for joining in and catching the spirit of the evening!

All the models were fantastic, I am so impressed at everyone's talents! I will look at your photos on Flickr Andy and then decide if I have any worth putting up - I have a feeling you will have better ones than me!

Fantastic creations! I had a go at guessing the stories, and who'd made them... got a few right!

I really like C's - incredibly professional (but then I guess she does have a degree in Playdough-ing)

What a cool evening.
As others who have already blogged I also thought the models were all fab and it was fun to see everyones ideas in 3D.

I get a lot out of the creative sessions. It stretches parts of my brain that don't always get used to their potential.

Thanks to Helen for excellent play dough making. It was squidgetastic!!!

Sounds like you had a fab night. My play dough days are long gone although I feel I served my time and could have also scraped a degree in the subject - however, I seem to remember sraping it off the carpet more than anything!!
You have all this to come Suze - enjoy!!
Glad you're all enjoying sofachurch still. Wish I could have been with you.
