The last SofaChurch of the month is something creative. To the left are three works of art created on the last craft session. Being relaxed and different is the intention and the practice, allowing people to be who they are. Isn't this what gatherings of Christians should be about?

Thanks, Tim, for posting up those photos. We really are a 'creative' bunch, so I'm looking forward to doing something a bit arty again soon. Maybe with clay next time!!!!!
Cheers!

How about... in three weeks time on March 27th for our next creative evening we have a go at claymation animation?
If we can rustle up enough laptops to have, say, one between three, some plasticene, I can borrow some webcams from school, I reckon we can get something together. I run an animation club at school and you can get quite quick results.
That sounds really fun!Always fancied having a go at stop motion animation. One of my fave films is "The Nightmare Before Christmas" by Tim Burton.
Fantastic idea! Always fancied having a go at plasticine animation. A group of Y6s from my school went on a course last year and were literally bubbling with enthusiasm when they came back and showed us their mini cartoons.
We can easily bring along atleast 2laptops too.
Oooooh I'm so excited! ;o)

I think everyone is creative given a chance... after all our nature bears our Creator's traits of, er, creativity.
Though I will likely need to dip out of SC after the American Beauty slot until end of April, as this book MUST get done by then, or things won't be well for me... and I'm getting to the stage of being quite severe with time!
Right, we'll go for it then. Does anyone else have a laptop they can bring? - doesn't need anything special, just a USB port.
I could bring mine.
I can just hear the gruff voiceover: SofaChurch - The Movie - coming soon to a LapTop or PC near you...
Giggle,that would be funny.
We could be up for an oscar yet.
Best animated shorts.
Bermuda or cycle.Splutter!!!
I'm sorry I couldn't resist.
